In a recent competition, 49 companies from Serbia and other countries is Southeast Europe submitted their meat products for an evaluation of quality. MI "Goranovic" was pronounced Absolute Quality Champion by the professional judging commission, which consisted of eminent specialists in the technology of the meat production and processing. The commission included specialists from the Institute of Meat Hygiene and Technology, the Institute for Food Technology, and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine from Ljubljana and Novi Sad . In Addition to the Championship Cup, Goranovic received two large gold medals and 67 medals for product quality, as well as 36 Gold, 20 Silver and 11 Bronze medals.
At this year's fair, which is known as the biggest fair exhibition of its kind in Southeast Europe , participation in the quality Competition was at the highest level in history. The official award ceremony was held on April 9, 2009 in the Master centre of the Novi Sad Fair. The 76th International Agricultural fair in Novi Sad will be officially opened on May 9, 2009.
